    Default First complete shave

    About 3-4 weeks into it, first complete shave. No training wheels, no blood loss. Mostly with the grain with some XTG in some areas. End result was decent enough for work. I get it now, it is all muscle memory and a good pre-shave. This is an awesome feeling. Not going back to disposable blades ever. I wish I'd learned this earlier in my life (I'm 47 now).

    I started about a 2 months ago and am also still amazed at how close a shave you can get with a straight razor. I have also fully shaved my head using the straight razor. Let me tell you its an amazing feeling. Now its just fun finding all of these new products to use and how great it makes your skin feel. To think we were spending who knows how much a month on those dumb disposable razors! Now when I see them in the store I just laugh
