    Default TI La Legende

Got this in the mail today. Was always curious what the new TI's were like. Lucked into a 2 day half price sale last week.

Looks like a nice even bevel with no frowning tomfoolery so that's great. I have seen some wonky stuff

I know they get bad press from time to time, but I've had nothing but good luck with the many I've acquired. That looks like a winner.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I think you are really going to like this blade. My TI Bison is a great shaver.

Well, it goes like this. The bevel is wider than I would have thought and I did not like what I saw by eye of the edge. So, stropped her up and did a shave. End result was the shave was a tad rough so re stropped on a hanging crox strop, then linen and leather. Next took it to the loupe and as suspected by the shave the very edge was not so good looking, in set? Tonight it is off to the hones to see what is what. Not too unexpected from what I have read of factory edges on here. Other than that seems just fine.

That is a sweet looking razor Bob.

I bought a Bison the same time rolodave did. The factory edge needed to be corrected when I bought it. It shaved just fine after a pro honer gave it some attention.

Thank you. I just finished messing with it so the morning shave will tell all. IIRC the Revisor I got a couple of years ago had a far better factory edge imo.
