OMG!!!! I caught a new bug!! DEAD = Double Edge Accusation Disorder!! lol.. On the bright side it put a hold on my RAD.. but now im looking for new DEs to collect.. The blame to this is the new Feather AS-D1 that i just traded for a couple straights.. ITS GLORIOUS!! Any suggestions you gentlemen can suggest? As of now I have the Feather AS-D1 and a 1961 Gillette Super Speed..I will be dead if this keeps up! pun intended! lol

Try a Gem 1912 single edge razor and fill in the gap between the DE's and the straights.

LoL..I have pretty bad RAD(Razor acquisition disorder). I have acquired lots of DE and Straights. Although now that my collection is almost over, I find myself not being affected as much. I also have a database of all razors I have acquired, including straights and de razors. I doubt we can avoid RAD once we start enjoying wetshaving with these razors. I still have some multiblade razors (which I am trying to find a way to get rid of).

You can send your multiblades to me, and I will dispose of them for you free of charge.

I never got hit hard by DE AD, I only got 3, and could do fine with 1 really, they get used like a couple days a month.
But I may add the Feather Stainless some time down the road, that one is a masterpeice I'd love to have.

Now for straights, that's another story...

I think, whether you find yourself with a mania to collect DEs depends on how much you use them. For me I never had it. I only have 3 and have no real desire to have any more. Of course I mostly use a straight so DE's are for times I'm in a hurry or don't want to concentrate that much.

I have a GEM single edge in the display cabinet, what are good blades for these, I might use it once out of curiousity.
