    Ditto !

    I do the same.

I only shave trice a week, so always remove the blade from my DE.

I clean my DE each shave anyway, so have to remove the blade anyway.....

Even though Derby, Feather, Wilkinson and what ever stainless blade you might be using, supposedly will not rust, they WILL rust at some point if you leave them wet in the DE razor.

At least they might rust if you only shave 1-2 a week. I feel better, if I remove the blade after my shave.

When I used DEs I would just make sure the razor was dried properly and put the DE away, I never took the blade out unless I was changing it after a few uses..

I have 2 of these identical stands for my 2 Mühle DE sets. I have a scuttle for shaving cream lather, so don't use the little steel bowl under the brush. I keep my blade in that bowl on top of a folded cleenex after each shave.
