Ihave the same problem and as far as I can tell , there is not much you can do about it, people see your face more than they do your neck, so I just let it be.

After shaving my cheeks I will stretch them upwards pulling the skin along the jawbone up as well. then I will shave that area while it is off the jawline. Hope this helps.
