I would use plain Ole Ivory and a brush before I tried a straight and Babersol All the soaps above are great, and don't forget the old tried and true Williams Shave Soap .97 cents at wally world...

I can always add another razor to the pile when it's time to hone...I'm in for honing one for free also :) After all this forum is known for helping each other out!!! That will get you 4 of them...
