Actually, what I found out today (my third shave)...
Actually, what I found out today (my third shave) was that I had the blade at too shallow an angle on my previous two shaves. It cut much better at a slightly greater angle (still under 30 degrees)....

Thanks. I believe that the razor is shave ready, since I purchased it from SRD, and from what I've seen on the forum and their website, it's shipped only after being honed and made shave ready.
