There are small pits on the scales. I will get those pics soon. They would be fine, but RAD is a bitch.

Not correct for period, but kind of cool. Probably go with black ox scales.

The next thing is the scales. I saw some things on ebay for scales. Need to find someone to put them on. Do you know if SRD does that?

Should be here in a week. Will take lots of photos. It's tough to tell but there is an etching on the blade. Looks like an eagle and some writing. Hopefully some one can tell me how old this fella...
