My scuttle keeps my lather really hot if I can put near boiling water in it. On the plus side I can make tea and lather at the same time. The electric kettle does both and is faster.

I don't think I am going to be using cold water until the zombie apocalypse... My tap water is 127 degrees F, and it seems to be working fine. I did get a scuttle for Christmas that has a big enough...

I read somewhere on this site that if I put my brush in water that is too hot I could damage it. This leads to a couple of questions. How hot is too hot and how do I know if I have damaged a brush....
