They seem to come up at about the rate of only 1 or 2 a year. I missed one a couple of years ago that had no scales. Ivory being somewhat scarce (try unobtainable now) I wouldn't be keen on using...

I had a Mappin Lancet edge razor in the mail. I now have it in my hands! Mu ha ha ha:angel:

OK, here they are. Not quite a matched pair but pretty close. There is some damage to the wedge end of one that will require repair; some would replace the scales entirely but I've never worked...

Alas alack, they were not a pair - but one is in remarkable condition. Just clean up and hone; no need to re-pin or polish. I'll post pics if anyone's interested.

I'm quietly confident that they are, but I'll know in a few days :o

These two little beauties. They should tidy up very nicely.

That looks terrific Graze! I reckon it's in the same league as the O. Henckels 7/8 retailed by Bennett and Bone that I discussed with you last month. Can't wait to see the other side of the tang.
