Don't worry, I found exactly the same when I got my Dovo, prior to getting it honed. Since getting it honed it is 100% and a totally different shaving experience.

The razor is great. Had to get it honed though. They are definitely not shave ready. Got it honed by onimaru55 and would definitely recommend his service, he also provided heaps of excellent advice....

Thanks, I purchased the razor on ebay (i now know this is not the best idea). So I am thinking it will not be shave ready. I have already been in touch with Onimaru thanks for the advice.
