    I have used the same procedure as the Col. Conk soap. I usually get a good lather with that. The problem isn't the building of the lather but the fact that it dissapates rapidly once on the face....

    I purchased Classic shaves wool fat shave soap recently and have used it twice. It does not seem to hold a lather on your face as long as say Col. Conk or some of the other cremes. I used it again...
