Ok thanks for the advise.I'll try experimenting to see what works. I thought it might just be a newbie thing only straight shaving exclusively for just a few weeks.

Just wonder this morning I tried to use more water when I made my lather. I made a ton of lather, but when shaving my face just felt wet and not very slick. It stayed on my face and didnt look "wet"...
