Stropping after is not absolutely essential for the shave, but it will go a long way to keeping your razors edge rust free,as it will aid in the drying process when it's all said and done.

I've met some of those Swamp people Carl, and some of the hillbillies in the Smokey mountains, Tennessee. Scariest part about all that was that I seemed to fit right in with them. :)
