Avoid Pakistani steel at all costs. They produce a huge amount of steel these days, and almost all of it is of EXTREMELY poor quality. This is the main reason why zeepk razors are so useless.

Well, the high carbon/stainless debate is an old one.

High carbon is more traditional, and generally considered easier to hone and easier to touch up with a barber hone or pasted strop.
