    Hello and welcome to SRP!

Great to hear you actually got to visit with Mastro Livi and leave with an absolutely beautiful razor.
    Congratulations and enjoy!

I just got back from Italy where I visited Mastro Livi at his studio in Perugia. Even though my Italian is bad the Mastro was incredible patient with med and showed me his Laboratory and explained the process he follows. It is amazing to watch him work and create something so beautiful from a "piece of steel". I can highly recommend Mastro Livi any potential buyers!!

Some pictures of my Kamisori (symmetrical, with Ivory mammoth fossil).

Absolutely amazing and stunning! I think I've seen it too live in his glass showcase some months ago

And I think it's the same shown in that video too about the Mastro Livi School, correct?

mao83 - You are correct it is the same knife. I was not sure if I wanted a Kamisori before I visited the workshop, but fell in love with the design right away. Nedless to say, but it shaves great.

Would love to see that shave of the day. How can you possibly match such a piece with anything this earth offers? Such finery must be seen show us I say my RAD says show us please!

Now this would be the razor for a Juve fan !

I'd flip the razor though, so it makes a J too - no need to be subtle here

    Default TWO OF MY FAVORITES

I own 6 Mastro Livi's. I gave 3 to my son in law who is Italian. The two attached are my absolute favorites from Mastro Livi. One Damascus and the other carbon steel with antler scales. The Antler scale razor is a really big razor at 8/8 but the balance is perfect. When I check out, I told my wife to put the Damascus in my pocket.Name: fullsizeoutput_1e.jpg

They are both amazing, but I really love the first one: the scales matches perfectly with the damascus blade! Is it striped buffalo horn?

An 8/8 Livi RWL34 (full hollow) in streaked Buffalo horn (ca. 2011)....a tiny bevel for a beast of a razor.
