    July is winding down and it’s hot outside. I mean really hot. A couple of the guys are frying an egg on the pavement and the air is so thick with humidity it takes an effort to breathe. We hear in the big city they have this thing called refig…umm refrid…well some contraption that makes the air cold. I don’t know why you would need something like that we just pack things in salt around these parts and to cool off we just mosey out to the old quarry and jump in.

    I was getting ready to shave last night and picked out my weapons, my DD Golden Mandarin and my Thater Brush and hmm… lets see I’ll use Obie’s revenge (MDC soap) and finish with some Royall Spice AS.     This morning I was getting ready for the usual daily shave and hmm..…let’s see, what razor shall I use today? Maybe one of the ones with the precious metal scales or one of those encrusted with precious gems or maybe the one owned by Napoleon or Louis the 14 or 15th (I can never remember there were so many of them) or perhaps the one Rasputin used or the one with the Kryptonite Scales (yea I can bend steel in my bare hands after using that baby).     It’s Saturday morning at the Little bigspendurs house and it’s hot as blazes outside and there are no fans or air conditioners. So Pa, gets me up early and says we’re goin for a haircut. So we leave the apartment and make the trek one block down Manor Avenue and there ahead on Westchester Avenue on the right like the opening gates to heaven is the entrance to Andy’s Barber Shop.
