    Here are more pictures, I included wet/dry ones and tried to get closer but not sure if they will help any. The backing stone does not look like the pictures of the BBW that I looked up, they were mostly grey/blue. This backing stone is certainly more brown in color.

    Certainly looks like a coticule with a BBW backing. I think you got a nice stone.

    Wow, very interesting, thanks for the link. After looking at the link it looks like the backing stone may be Rouge du Salm. It looks identical to the pictures in the link, especially with a slurry on it.
