Default Least expensive way to mail straight razor.

Hello, I want to mail a straight razor to my brother in Delaware. Anybody know the least expensive way to do this? Can it be sent in an envelope with the coffin box inside? Or whatever you guys have done before. Thanks

Bubble wrap + padded envelope. Same as above - never had a problem. Have also wrapped razor in paper a put it in a piece of pipe insulation and then wrapped it. Also works great.

Most often I also use the bubble wrap and padded envelope. Since you are here in the USA if you ship with the United States Postal Service ask for tracking as it’s free and it’s a really nice option so that you and who ever is receiving the razor can know where it is!

Another option for added protection is to put the razor in an old coffin case, then wrap in the bubble wrap.

I had to ship seven razors out to a member the other day and I used a shipping box from when I’d received a razor from a well known restorer/honer, I still individually wrapped each blade in paper towel and used tape to hold it in place and then wrapped the group in bubble wrap before placing in the box.

I remember your pipe insulation trick very unique.

Recently received a razor I bought on EBay that was sent in "plastic plumbing tubing." Thought that it was a great, safe way to send it.

Just sold one on ebay. 5x7 envelope, bubble wrapped the boxed razor and shipped for 2.10

I use the small USPS Box.

Tracking and D.C is only free with priority mail,I will never use a paper mail pouch as I want the security of a box heavily taped.
Small flat rate USPS priority is $5.80 with full tracking and some piece of mind.

The small priority box is $5.80 and the envelope is about $2.20+$2-$3.50 shipping and I think its $.50 for tracking. Atleast that is what I paid. I started just going with the priority boxes since it seems like less hassle.
