Thread: Meet-up with RMarsh

Last Thursday I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ryan, RMarsh! He came over and we spent the afternoon talking and working on straight razors and hones. He finished lapping his Norton 4/8k and then did a touch up on his daily shaver and did an absolutely excellent job on it!! We worked on his Robert Williams custom and honed out some damage to the edge, reset the bevel and honed it on the Naniwa's through the 12k. We also worked on stropping with CrOx, and then linen and leather, and then worked on shaving technique, strokes, angles, lather, etc. etc.. I look forward to an extended friendship with him, and give a sincere thanks to him for his service!!!

Also, he taught me a few things about shaving with just one hand, I'm a two hander! I think he's going to try working on two hands and I'm going to work on one hand...I want to use my Iwasaki Kamisori, on both sides of my face!!
