Default On the tip of my tongue,,, R...Re...Aargh!

What is the name for a razor that has broken at the pivot point and has had a handle put onto it so it can still be used BUT the handle doesn't move. I swear it starts with an "R". It's not revamp, renovated, re-handled, rescaled, rejuvenated or remade. I have been searching since 7am (now 9pm). I know the word and the second I see it I'll be jumping for joy.
    PLEASE.....HELP!!!!!!

Handles that don't move = fixed razor or non-folder. Not sure what word you're looking for, though.

    I don't know either; that's the problem. :'(

You know when you have a word on the tip of your tongue and ask someone and they say "Example?" And you think to your self "Yes, that's it! gawd I'm an idiot!" I feel that way right now. I have now gotten to the point of doing an advanced image search on SRP via google hoping to see what I'm after.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here is a thread where people were talking about re-purposing old busted razors as patch knives.

Often the word used is Mod'd as in Modified, not sure if that was the word you were after or not

But it is often used to describe work that takes the razor well out of the Vintage Restore arena

This is other examples of a Mod'd style of razor
