Thread: Half versus full hollow

I am fairly new to this I have full hollow that is a 5/8 and another that is 6/8 the 5/8 is very flexible while the 6/8 is not. Both are very nice. In my personal limited experience, angle is important to whisking off the wiskers, but if the razor is bending on your face you are probably pushing too hard. Get the correct angle and a sharp blade and you will not need any pressure. Go with the hollow!

Totally agree. No type of grind is better than the other. You will find out your preference as you try.

I currently have a full hollow, half hollow and quarter hollow razors. When they are sharp, I can get a great shave with any of them. The biggest difference from my experience is just in the weight of them and they feel in your hand.
