No, I just meant that German vintage razors are generally solid if in good shape. The steel is trustworthy, and so on.

Modern production razors from well-known companies are also very good - Dovo, TI etc. There's a list of the not-recommended "new" brands in the library (eg Fury, anything advertised on ebay with the words "Sweeny Todd".... )
