    Talking What a difference!

So, after my previous problems (I posted about pulling and discomfort) I met up with local Awesome Guy Cangooner.
He brought his hones, and we cleaned up the edge on the razor he gave me.

I went home and finished the honing, and then stropped the heck out of it. Result: Yesterday I shaved most of my face (I'm still too bumbling to do my chin and neck) with no pulling or irritation. Now THAT's the way it's supposed to be.

Finished off with my DE for a fantastic shave. I finally get it, however I believe I caught RAD.

Anyone use the Ralf Aust razors? I noticed SRD actually has some in stock!

Eventually you will shave your whole face. I remember telling my buddy who started me on this "no, no, no I can't use my left hand to shave I'll kill myself" and a month later of little run here little run there and voila. All in time..

Yes. I love my Rolf Aust. I have a 5/8 spanish point. Beautiful razor and very well crafted. Easy to hone and has held the edge very well so far. I shaved with it last night as a matter of fact. It feels and behaves similar to a Whacker if you have ever had the chance to shave with one of those. I found the price to be very very reasonable for a razor of that quality.
