    Dont forget that a brush can be made "denser" if you buy an o ring and wrap it. So if your inexpensive badger doesnt feel as full as the expensive ones, a 50 cent o ring will give you that thicker feel and its not permanent so you can always remove it.

    The whole thing about beginners and silvertips started a few yrs back when simpson was having what I believe be Q.C issues.
    Warrantys were denied under the pretext of beginners using to much pressure,using circles to apply lather,squeezing the brush to hard when done,YADA YADA.
    Buy the best silvertip you can afford and it will last you darn near forever.
