First shave
Just received my razor from Whipped Dog, finished my first shave ,did not go too badly, couple of nicks but nothing drastic . Need to do more on the prep front , but very enjoyable. Finished with aqua velva. Shave like a boss and smell like one too. Lovely.

It won't be long before the nicks disappear and the shave gets much better, and then you really feel like a boss!

Grats on your first, way to go! Does not sound like a poor experience at all.
It's a great pleasure, being able to learn how to improve and little by little creeping up towards consistently great shaves. You will get there, just keep at it.
