Default Took the plunge with my first SR

So, last night, I made the commitment and purchased my first SR. I've been using the Dovo shavette for about a week and love the ritual and how it's forcing me to simply slow down my life. To that end, I figured I might as well do it right!

I had thought of getting one of the historic models, with the decorated spines; but $250 for my first SR was enough for me. I bought it from vintage blades llc, and Jim was very helpful. Also bought a 3" leather strop and the TI strop paste.

Here's to looking forward to a lifetime of smooth shaves!

Very nice!! The TI razors are looking very nice to me lately, just when I thought I had a hand on the RAD! Beautiful razor, use it in good health!

Great looking razor! I have yet to try a TI but it is next on my list. I hear rave reviews about them. You can't go wrong with vntagebladesllc either. GREAT bunch of guys and that razor is as sharp as any razor can ever get. You can judge all others sharpness by that blade. Welcome!

It just came in, and I love it. The scales are a little more red than I would typically prefer, but it's beautiful all the same.
