Thanks for pointing me in the right direction everyone! I just ordered a TI Spartacus and it came within 24 hours and today picked up my first DE- a Merkur recommended by Jim and its scheduled to be dropped off tomorrow! Great service and extremely fast deliver times!

I too have nothing but great things to say about that site. I have made a few purchases from there and have never been let down. They are eager to please and communicate with you throughout the buying process and will guide you in the right direction if you have questions. Do not confuse these guys with vintagestraigntrazors.com.

I love dealing with Jim at Vintage Blades. Very friendly, courteous, excellent selection of straight shaving gear, from entry level to the high end. The shipping is fast and I also purchased 2 TI razors from him that came quickly and yes, they are honed by Lynn. Great business!

    Thanks
I e-mailed him after two weeks of trying to get a defective razor (I got elsewhere) to work. He identified my description of my problems as a defective razor and said he personally used a Merkur 34C HD. I ordered what he used and thanked him profusely after it worked like a dream. He said he knew I would like it.

He has a good name, too, Ayars. My name is Ayers. Other than the fact he can't spell his last name, he's a super guy to do business with.

    Two thumbs up!

That's the same DE that I ordered on his advice. What a great guy!
