Default Finally got my Hart! Plus cool new shave den!

So when my 102 yr old grandmother who is still quite spry moved out of her home last year the family divided up here things. I got an old 1800 postal desk that was used by the postmaster to sort mail. WELL naturally it was perfect! Now I'm just looking for an antigue wash basin I can use for water. I like the rustic idea!

That is a nice set up might I suggest putting that mirror on a hinge for easy access to the space behind it.

I am looking into that. Thats the best I could do for now but Im gonna look at one of those swinging mirrors that will fold to the side. The mirror I have does block a cool view.

I think that mirror looks good there and it would be nice to store the towels behind it

Good point, but I figure as I accumulate more stuff I will run out of shelf space. I want to do the clear dishes of soaps like Glen has eventually.

Those would look good across the top all lined up.

Great use for a grand old desk. How much room does it all take up? Can't get an idea from the photo.
