I would love to do that. I am new to honing but have been practicing on over a dozen razors and have gotten to where I can get a great shave off of them.I would love to get an experts opinion and some tips. Right now I am using a Norton set up. 220/1k, 4/8k, and a chinese 12k. I do have my eye on that Naniwa 12k which will be coming soon. I finish up my honing with laps on a paddle with red and black dove paste and finally 5 or so strokes on chromium oxide and then my hanging strop. If anyone is interested I would love to participate in something like this.

I don't need to shave every day but do it so my beard doesn'r get too thick.

Unfortunately, buying razors sold as shave ready is a good way to gauge one's honing skills.
