    I agree. I sometimes like these debatable topics! To some one brand is good to others maybe some others. To each his own, really. But love to hear the different opinions.

    From what i have learned so far, that Dovo is probably the most trusted one, in terms of quality, price and sheer number of people who have recommended it to me!

    There are many other quality makers that are just as good my friend, we recommend the Dovo's for beginners to get their feet wet on a good every day razor at an affordable price. Best bang for the buck on a new razor, yes, the Dovo hands down.

    The 'BEST' razor out there is the one You like the best and get fine shaves from.

    Sometimes I think the constant reminders that it's all subjective are almost as bad as fanboyism that folks seem to be trying to avoid. I appreciate the responses that aren't limited to truisms and bromides about subjectivity.

    For what it's worth, right now my favorite is still a Feather Artist Club with Super Professional blades. I'm acquiring a few non-disposable razors, but the Feather is quite a decent shaver. I haven't had as much luck with standard Professional blades though.
