You could also check with Whipped Dog about un-honed razors. His sight unseen deals are honed and shave ready but I believe he'll also sell them un-honed at a discounted price.

Hey All. In terms of buying razors from whippeddog, what are your thoughts? Sight unseen, first razor? Is it worth it? I dont want to jump into an expensive razor, if things dont work out. Im fine with used, is this site credible? Anyone bought one from here and used it?

I went the whipped dog route and couldn't be happier! Great shaver thattaught me well! The sight half seen deals give you a chance to gGoogle what the razor would look like if you want to pay a little more.

I'm waiting for my first Whipped Dog to arrive. Do a search for Whipped Dog on this or any of the other shaving forums, you could spend hours reading all the positive comments.
