Thread: Best shave to date

I have shaved about 6-8 times so far and had my best shave to date today. Before in my haste to jump right into it i would just put a hot rag on my face, work up a semi lather and go to town. My first shave went well. No nicks at all and was able to get my entire face with ease. Until today i thought i was getting a close shave. Yesterday i went to a high end shave shop and got a very nice cream for around 50 bucks as i have not used a cream yet.today i did the whole ritual. I took a bath, scrubbed my face, hit it with some Olay exfoliation wash, conditioned my beard all the while soaking my brush in a scuttle with hot water. I used the cream which produced a very nice slick lather, much fuller and slicker than any soap i have used. The end result was amazing. I cannot find a whisker anywhere on my face. I mean its like hair doesnt even grow there. I then rubbed on some pist shave balm. If any of you other beginners have yet to make a ritual out of yiur shave you are missing out on the majority of the experience. On a side note i think i am sold on the cream. It was much more comforatable than soap.
