Perhaps I'm quick because I don't have to do the goat area? I do cut myself a lot too.

Here is a vid I did a few weeks ago. I didn't record the pre and post stropping...but you get the idea. http://youtu.be/7Nxrwy96GvM

Hell, for the first 32 seconds, I thought I was a victim looking up at a robbery-in-progress; then I realized it was a shave towel to soften the whiskers.

I enjoy my Straight Razor shaves, the relaxing hot shower, the pre-shave creams, the stropping, the smell of the shaving creams, the shave, the toner, the after shave balm. It takes me about 30 minutes, and I relish every relaxing minute of it.

About ten minutes most mornings starting from emptying the sink and filling again with hot water, making a lather, stropping, two passes. These days I have every stroke pretty much ironed out, I use the same strokes each morning. Maybe a third of the time I do only one pass. If I'm in a hurry I use my DE.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

If I'm in a hurry I can get DFS from one ATG pass in about 5 minutes, including the time it takes to make the lather.
