Default Looking for in person help in the Central Louisiana area.

Haven't been shaving with starights very long and having a little trouble. Looking for someone that could help me with shaving neck area and stropping technique. The hair on my neck grows kinda diagonal going up from my AA. This makes going against the grain quite tough for me. If anyone in the area would like to help, please let me know and I would like to meet up with you. Thanks.

Hello dpbonnette, and Wecome to SRP!! Seems to have been a little slow on the forum this weekend, may have been football overload. Below is a link to local help, but if you don't see one in your immediate area, there may be some responses from other members in your area. Lots of very good info on the forum and good resources also. The search function at the top right of the page can be invaluable and our wiki link below is full of good stuff for the new straight razor user. Glad to have you on the forum, and again Welcome!!

I know we've got a lot of Louisiana members. If you don't get a response here in a couple more days, try posting the same question in the Shaving with a Straight Razor thread. I think there are more readers there.

    Good luck and best wishes.
