I have noticed a wax build up on my razor since I have begain useing this crea, and it makes it harder for my brush to take water. My bigist concern is my razor I clean it with hot water afterward is there anything I need to know about this I do like the fell of the menthol. Please forgive the spelling and gramer.

Edit: I'm assuming you are referring to the pre shave. If not and you're talking about the soap...same applies below except the amount used. Lather, as you would any other soft soap.

I had the same problem. I found if I used less, only a small pea size, and applied to a wet face the razor stayed cleaner and the have was smoother. Plus this method will give me 6-7 months of usage out of the little jar.

Also I give the razor a pass on my forearm after rinsing, in a stropping motion of course that clears off any unwanted cream or residual soap the hot water rinse did not.

Thanks for the info I will give it a try tomorrow. I sure do love shaving now that um useing a straight razor.
