Default first full shave (face and head), wow

My newest tool came in the mail today - a Robeson Shur-Edge model 1586, a nice $46 ebay win (much higher than the $2.00 price engraved on the blade itself, heh). It's decently sharp (but is going to Lynn to make it better), so I stropped and took care of the right side of my face (no chin, i have a beard down there). I decided what the heck, let's try the left, and 10 minutes later, that side was done too, no cuts or nicks. So, I go eat dinner, and start thinking "I'm tired of waiting until I can afford that Dovo Ebony Bismarck set, lets go carefully try the right side of my head". 30 minutes later, I've got my WHOLE head done.....don't know how it happened, but I just didn't get as nervous as I thought I would, and the notion of stopping to switch to clippers (it was a pretty nice growth) just never occurred to me. Now, I had to go back to my cartridge razor for cleanup (I bought them, figure I'll find some use for them until they're gone, you know?), but I've never taken care of my head so quickly (pass wise). Usually I forget about it and have to take 3-4 passes over it, first with clippers, then with the cartridge. I nicked my head in a few places, mostly on the back where I can't see, one mole I forgot was there, but otherwise? WOW.....just wow. Definitely know I'm not going to go back to using clippers, and the cartridges will not grace my bathroom cabinet ever again. Pics would be included but well.....I'm a bit picky about pics and don't have a dedicated area. I can't seem to find a flat, clean surface in my house right now that doesn't have any cat or dog hair on it (even a few pieces ruins a picture in my mind). Pics soon tho, I promise

I'm always amazed by people that shave their head with a straight.

    Welcome to the forum!
