    I have a kind of "scrap" soap tub that I put the last bits of soap into to make a kind of Frankenstein soap

    Haha you could make a layered franken soap. A different soap everyday from the same puck, no more need to buy multiple soaps!!!

    As I collected more and more soaps I found that it was too easy to lose track of what the puck was(:-(. Solution.. I slice a sliver off the puck/round and press that small piece onto the bottom of my lather bowl. The original puck/round goes back, dry, into it's original container... And I know what it is. Works for me.
