    I do what thebigspendur does, though I lay a dry section of the towel over my open palm and strop. I think that way the towel doesn't have much opportunity to bunch up or move around.

    Came across this thread and thought I'd lay in with what works for me. After rinsing the blade under the tap, I dry it on a towel. Then I coat the blade with military LSA, making sure to cover the entire surface from one end to the other. Then I store them in the canvas roll until next time. I've never had a problem with any of them.
