Default Does anyone have any information of this?

    Hello All:

I had a visit from an old friend this weekend. He had been going through some things he had stored and found 2 razors. This razor is one that belonged to his Grandfather, and since he knew I was into shaving with straight razors he brought it to me.

I have no information other than what is on the razor, It says " Crown Razor Germany and xtra 302 on the other side. I will try posting some pics. If anyone can help with info on this razor It would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about your razor, but like its shoulderless grind. Very interesting look. How wide is the blade?

According to Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings, the CROWN RAZOR CO. GERMANY was in business from 1900 to 1930.

This most likely won't help much but the blade with id .660 of an inch. My calipers only measure std. sorry

As Morty says early 20th century, 5/8 Crown razor. cleaned up and honed it should shave pretty good.
