Default 3 months with a straight

Gday everyone new to srp but have been reading for about 5 months so I thought I'd start posting too. I started by thinking why not give it a go I was already using a double edge so thought I'd step it up a notch. The price of straights is a lot and than getting all the other gear too it adds up fast so I ended up ordering a razor from a site called whipped dog. For 58 bucks you get a shave ready antique razor may not be perfect but all good to shave with and a poor man strop some oils and soap and balsa wood and the micron paste too all delivered too your door and yes that's 58 bucks. It was the best thing I've done and I love shaving with a straight I never use anything else now. I've had two big cuts but only in the last week on my chin just cause I was rushing though. Any way it's a good feeling to be posting on srp now and can't wait to start collecting straights too cheers scott87

Welcome to Str8 Shaving. Whipped Dog is a great way to start as many have found out. Be careful when you start collecting because RAD will set in quickly.

Welcome aboard Scott! I bought my first straight razor from Larry Andro for $21.00 more than two years ago and it's still in my rotation.
