    Default First time in years.

I felt like I was shaving for the first time. I usually wear a goatee but last night I got out the clippers and trimmed it and then got the razor to shape it. I was not paying attention to the entire blade and took a little to much in one spot. So I decided to shave all but the stache. Man It was like I was shaving for the first time and on the chin I was. Hadnt shaved it in years with any razor. Did better than I thought I was going to. No cuts or nicks but not BBS. It took me an extra pass to get it good enough. I guess the moral of the story is make sure where your blade is at all times. Its amazing that my chin is so cold after losing so little hair.

Same thing happened to me and my goatee, and you know what, I don't miss it one bit. The mustache went too. All the more area to shave!

Atta Boy! Ya, the chin is one of the toughest areas to get "just right" without getting too close or leaving stubble. I figured this is why a lot of straight razor guys give up and wear a goatee. Master the chin before you let it grow back...you just might like it.

Lol I lose my goatee like that at least 3times a year!! I don't grow it cause I mind shaving my chin, I grow it because I have a tiny chin and a huge irish/german head!! Lol

Good to know I'm not the only one...LOL I might just keep the chin clean. The stache stays though. I have shaved it twice since about 1990, once just to shave it and once due to work. I got wind burned upper lip both times it even hurt to smile.
