    Default protection for wood scales

Evening everyone and happy weekend to all.

I would like to ask how can i protect and shine the wooden scales on my two blades?
I have a Diamant and a Biz and both have wood scales.

Also is there a way to shine up the blade from time to time?

    Thank you

AFIK Renaissance Wax is hard to beat for protecting scales, and once polished , blades as well. For a paper towel polisher , like me, I use Semichrome, Flitz or Wenol because those work well and are available in my neck of the woods.

Renaissance wax on the blade also makes it rinse clean much easier. That's my favorite thing about it.

The renaissance wax seems a bit like my Briar pipe wax made of beeswax and carnauba wax.
