Default Fourth Shave, nicked myself 4-7 times but who cares?

My lathering technique is getting better. Even though I'm dying to use my almond TOBS cream I decided to stick with my Classic Shaving Mocha scented soap (came with my shave mug). This time when I painted the lather on, it was probably three times as vibrantly white when on my face as the last couple of times I've shaved. The lather would usually fall flat after sitting for about 2 to 3 minutes. This was easily fixed by swirling my bristle brush on the soap puck for about 5 seconds (my initial lather was made in about 20 to 30 seconds of swirling and really digging the brush down into the soap) and repainting the sections I had yet to shave. My two gripes in this shaving session were trying to figure out how to get the side of my face opposite my dominant hand and the burning sensation from the soap! I lathered above my upper lip and I can still feel an unpleasant tingling just below my nostrils. That said, I used to always get the same sensation from the crap gels (Edge, et al.) when I shave with disposables. Regarding my (relatively) many nicks during this shave, my Clubman styptic pencil cleaned these up easily with a slight stinging sensation. If this is the worst it gets, I can definitely see myself shaving like this for the rest of my life.

You shouldn't be cutting yourself so much. Try stretching your skin tight at all times and go slow. A nick or cut should be a rare event.

I stretched more than I usually do, but the times I nicked myself were once where my neck meets the plane between it and the jaw (I was going fast and went into my neck a little bit), one place on my right cheek where I didn't notice until I saw the blood spot later, and on a couple of moles.
