    Default Lucky or wrong?

I have been straight razor shaving for just under one month now. I shave everyday, love the ritual and time of it, everything from the lathering to cleaning my face at the the end. Ok so the questions, I have only nicked/cut myself once - and it was nothing. But I only use my dominate hand (right), I am able to get that nice close shave on the left side but not on the right -any suggestions on how to get my left hand to co-operate or a right hand/right side of face technique?

Practice, practice, and more practice. I heard some members here suggest using your non-dominant hand to do other daily tasks that you would normally use you dominant hand for to get it used to doing things. It makes sense to me, but then again I am lucky that it just came natural to me to shave with both hands as I tend to be ambidextrous for a lot of things. If it doesn't work for you, it's no big deal, if I recall, there are quite a few one handed shavers here. Member "Xman" even has a video or two of his one-handed shaves. Just keep at it and it will all come together in due time.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

wow- break through today - both sides of my face were equally smooth after shaving, WTG/ATG/XTG (still only using dominate hand) -the neck continues to be an issue due partially to fear (i go very slowly) but the growth pattern seems random at best.

Had my first shave last night. The right side of my face went so well, I went ahead and did the rest of my face. Went very slow and only had 1 or 2 weepers on the left side of my neck. I used my left hand for the left side and right for right side (WTG only). I wouldn't call your lack of nicks/cuts luck, but more about concentration and taking it slow. I know many guys on here only use their dominant hand. But if you want to use both I'd suggest just going for it. I was really nervous using my left hand last night, but after only a few strokes it got much easier and my confidence grew greatly. It was already mentioned, but the more you pracitce/use your non-dominant hand the easier it should get.
