    Red face Many questions

I joined because I am looking for knowledgable people to guide me. My husband and I inherited about 20 antique straight razors from his fathers estate. The family would like to sell them. There are some that have little information about them on the web and we are looking for someone to help value the items. Any advice is greatly appreciated. The biggest one we can not find any information about is a Packwood. Please help if you can. Thank you very much.

We can oooo and aaaaahhhh over the pics, and can provide information here on SRP, but unfortunately we cannot provide any valuations for your razors. I'm afraid you're out of luck there.

    Still...pics are nice!

Your best bet would be to use the razor names as search terms on eBay. If you use the 'advanced search' option and check the 'completed listings' block, you'll see what other similar razors have sold for.

i.e. If I click on 'advanced search', enter the phrase 'Packwood razor', check the 'completed listings' box, it shows me 3 Packwoods that have been up for auction recently and how much they sold for...

Just take a look at them to see which ones were in similar condition to the ones you have and it'll give you a good idea of what they are worth in the current market.

This is dead on, and also about the end of the thread,

Sorry but SRP is not about Sales or Valuations... If by chance you were looking to learn to use the razors then we are the right place

Thank you for understanding our postion on this
