Those French Ivory scales are standard on many razors. What do you mean by "cheap replacement", millions were made using the same scales. I do not remember the pile side tang number but here is a Boker with same scales

Thank you for that information. I love this razor is a great shaver. It's good to know that the scales are original. Do you have any idea of how old could it be.

Looks like a nice french point Boker King Cutter. Great Find. Looks like its a 1924-34 but cant really tell because we cant see much of the tree on the tang.
    Nice Find.

Thank you again Howard. I didn't know that the logo was that important. I have a pic of the tang and two pictures of my other king cutter. Can you help me with the other one. Thank you again .Name: 2011-11-15_02-24-19_708.jpg

Biglatin, I've never really got into origins, time periods, or logos and trademarks. But, there are some truly knowledgable members, practically walking encyclopedias of razors. They mostly respond in this thread Razors if you post your question there I'm pretty sure you'll get some info on your razors. Sorry I'm not more help. Howard
