It's good to see your first shave turned out so well. Congratulations, and hopefully the many shaves to come are as enjoyable!

I am currently suffering from an acute case of SGAD. It's been quiet for a couple of days, but over the past three or four weeks, it has really hit me hard.

    Thumbs up

    Congratulations!

I love reading positive stories like yours. Shaving with a straight razor is unlike any other way of shaving. It is exhilarating.

The four reasons I love shaving with a straight and/or a DE razor:
    1. I love the "Zen" time for reflection.
    2. I love the challenge of learning a new skill.
    3. I love the beauty and craftsmanship of the razors.
    4. I love the feel of a clean shaven face, the feel of warm shaving lather, and the smell of a nice aftershave.

    Keep up the good work!

    Happy Shaving!

    2nd shave down!

All went great! Got much closer this time around.

I got a bit of razor burn on one part of my neck. I think it was caused by my need for that BBS. I went over one spot, one too many times ;-)

I know the shave will improve after experience ;-)

I am hoping to save on water as I have found I am quicker in the shower, eager for my shave!!

Be careful man! dont want to slip up and lose something important.
I made a similar mistake second time around to. I've learned that while Im leaning my technique to let my beard grow out a bit between shaves . It makes things a bit easier. Third time is a charm , keep up the good work,
