Walt--nice work! In answer to your question, yes, I'm another straight shaver in the middle of shaving nowhere. I've tried to get a couple of coworkers started, but they're too spooky about it.
And yet, SOMEBODY visits antique stores about a week before I do and clears out their straights. Unless that's just a stock phrase among antique dealers... "Oh, you should have come in last week..."
My wife is very generous with her interest. At least she no longer nods off when I mention shaving.

+100 on this, meeting some locals was the best learning experience possible as I didn't know anybody using a SR either.

Most everyone rolls their eyes when I talk about shaving. The Mrs. loves to touch my face afterwards, though (she just doesn't want to hear about it).I wonder how many other SRP members have this same problem of not having a single friend, acquaintance, or family member who gives a rat's "patoot" about this passion in our lives.
