Thread: Has anyone used or tried one of these funky razors on eBay?

I had one and did a full writeup, with photos, of the experience. It wouldn't hold a bevel. I'm sure they are not all the same, but I have zero expectations of any cheap damascus.

I new someone would have one! do you have the link?

I didn't think it would hold a bevel and due to that spine was it a pain in the A33 to hone?

Oh, sorry, I had a cheap damascus but not one of these. It's buried in this thread; start at post 87, or read the whole thing if you are so inclined.

I did notice that JimmyHAD was going to enquirer about them in that thread!

I actually sent en e-mail to the seller on eBay asking if he can garuntee that this will hold its edge and that it will hone up without any complications... I had no response lol

Its one of those things that i always new it wouldn't work but, if it did and there was proof i properly would have got one for the hell of it! It would have freaked out my friends!
